Diesel Engine Repair & Rebuild

Head gaskets, injector cups, short blocks and full engine replacements — including the cab-off jobs most shops send away.

Engines out, not worked around

When a job needs the engine out, it comes out. Cabs come off Super Dutys, beds come off chassis, and the engine goes onto a stand where it can actually be worked on. Duramax, Cummins and Power Stroke long blocks all get the same treatment. It is slower to set up and far quicker to do properly.

Heads, gaskets and injector cups

Head gasket failures, cracked heads and leaking injector cups are the bread and butter of this trade. We have fitted Kill Devil Diesel aluminum heads, replaced stainless injector cups from Riffraff Diesel, and reassembled valve trains that came in as a box of parts.

Full builds when the block is done

A 6.0 Power Stroke that came through here left with a River City Diesel short block, aluminum Kill Devil Diesel heads, a non-VGT turbo kit, an O-Dawg intake, a Thumper HPOP, a regulated return, bigger injectors and an AirDog 5G lift pump. That is the level the shop is set up for.
